Gym Building Update (February 21, 2025)
We are pleased to report two very visible pieces of progress this week at the St. Methodios gymnasium project.
First, the front door has been installed. This is a storefront type door which will be durable for the decades of use this building will have. We should enjoy a long life of entry into our lobby and gym area. This door is fully handicap accessible.
Second, our exterior windows on the lobby area have been trimmed out. The beautiful white trim compliments the structure and matches the trim of other parts of the building. These are operable Marvin windows. We thank our vendor, WW Building Supply of Newfane, Vermont and the Marvin Corporation as they both donated a large portion of the cost of these windows.
We look to begin framing of the locker room/ changing areas in the next few weeks.
